NoFo Brew Co Wins Best Brewery, Best Bar in Forsyth and Certified Great Place to Work®
NoFo Brew Co put down its roots in Cumming right off of GA-400 in September of 2019. Less than four years later, NoFo is pleased to announce three new awards: Best Brewery of Forsyth, Best Bar of Forsyth and Certified Great Place to Work®.
Certification for Great Place to Work® is a two-step process that involves not only completing a questionnaire about the team but also surveying the team members on their thoughts and opinions about the company.
“We are now nationally recognized as a great place to work, which is really awesome. I see the work our team puts in to make NoFo a superb place to work, and it means a lot to now be recognized more publicly. Personally, I enjoy being a leader in the industry not only as a great brewery, but also as a sought-after company to work for. 100% of our staff said that when you join NoFo, you are made to feel welcome. At NoFo it’s not just coming in to pour beer, it’s more than that,” says Sara Fornes, Director of HR & Culture.
With awards given out annually by the Best of Forsyth, NoFo Brew Co is recognized as both Best Bar and Best Brewery in the county of Forsyth for 2023 by Forsyth County News. Two new plaques are proudly displayed on the bar in the entryway recognizing NoFo for these accomplishments.
Team member since day one, Taproom Manager, Chris Rogers, says, “These awards really hit home and show not only myself, but also our team that we are on the right track.” Rogers continued, “We are always looking for fun and interesting ways to engage with our community at NoFo. Over the years, we have added cornhole, music bingo, trivia, live music, vendor market days and so much more to connect with a wide variety of our neighbors. We look forward to many more amazing memories together with this great community of ours.”
NoFo Brew Co is slated to celebrate their 4th anniversary in Cumming this fall and looks forward to opening their 2nd location in Gainesville at 434 High Street Gainesville, GA 30501 later this spring.
Rie’ver Cheeley, adored bartender with NoFo Brew Co expresses, “Winning these awards proves to me that what we do here at NoFo makes a difference. Serving great beer and cocktails and making genuine connections with customers goes a long way.”
If you’re looking for a family and dog-friendly place to relax and unwind, look no further. From high-quality hospitality to an inviting atmosphere to delicious craft beer and cocktails, NoFo looks forward to serving the community of Forsyth for years to come.
Group Publisher, Stephanie Woody from Forsyth County News, shares in the Best of Forsyth 2023 Magazine, “You have a group of people that believe in you enough, not only to put your name in the running as being the best, but to spend time voting for you to make sure you were recognized. In a time when loyalty is so hard to come by, you have found it.”
