Meet John: A Creative Heartbeat of NoFo Brew Co
Since joining our Cumming team in August 2022, John has become an indispensable part of who we are as NoFo. His passion for craft beer, spirits and community is evident in everything he does. From brewing ideas and bringing joy to our customers, John’s flare is seen across our entire community.
John’s Favorites
John’s go-to NoFo beer is the Queen City Sour, a perfect blend of pineapple and sweet cherry notes that never fails to hit the spot. When it comes to cocktails, he’s a fan of the Mauve Milestone, a delightful mix of gin, lavender and lemon that’s as unique as it is delicious.
A Multifaceted Talent
On his days off, you’ll find John immersed in fantastical worlds, running Dungeon and Dragons campaigns as a skilled Dungeon Master. His creativity doesn’t stop there. He’s also a talented musician who loves to play the guitar, sing, and compose his own music. John’s artistic spirit is a key ingredient in the vibrant atmosphere at NoFo Brew Co.
Aspiring Marketer
If John could add any additional specialty to his role at NoFo, he’d dive into more marketing. His knack for innovative ideas has already made a significant impact! He’s the mastermind behind our wildly successful Monday comedy night and industry day events. John’s excitement for seeing his concepts come to life and thrive is contagious, inspiring everyone around him.
Community and Interests
When he’s not brewing up fun at NoFo, John enjoys spending time at Pelican Pete’s. A true book lover, he’s a fan of epic tales like “Wheel of Time,” “The Dark Tower,” and nearly anything penned by Brandon Sanderson.
A Unique Contribution
When asked what he brings to NoFo as a team member, John humorously credits his “excellent mustache.” But his closest friends would describe him with three words: kind, thoughtful, and unique.
We asked John which NoFo core conviction he most embodies and his response was right on theme. He said ‘unique’ was the core conviction that sang most to him, and we couldn’t agree more. John has an eclectic group of friends and enjoys thinking outside the box. He delivers customized hospitality to our community, and we all love him for it.
John’s enthusiasm, creativity, and warm personality make him a cherished member of the NoFo Brew Co team. Whether he’s crafting new experiences for our customers or sharing a laugh over a Queen City Sour, John’s presence lights up our brewery.
