NoFo Wins Silver & Bronze at the ADI Spirits Competition
NoFo Brew Co has officially been awarded two medals for a duo of their most unique spirits. NoFo took home a silver medal for their apple brandy and a bronze medal for their agave spirit at the American Distilling International Spirits Competition.
NoFo Brew Co opened in September of 2019 with an upscale, community-focused atmosphere and a variety of craft beer on the menu. In late 2021, NoFo made a leap into the distilling world to provide a greater range of craft beverage options. NoFo has since crafted a wide variety of spirits including agave, gin, apple brandy, bourbon, vodka and more. With complex flavors of fresh crisp apples and honeysuckle, NoFo’s newest spirit and silver-award winning, apple brandy, is highly aromatic and inviting. Their bronze winning agave spirit is pleasant and balanced with toasty agave notes and subtle spearmint aromatics.
“Apple brandy has always been a spirit near and dear to my heart. To see ours win silver at ADI’s International Spirits Competition is absolutely incredible,” mentioned Hyde Buchanan, Head Distiller, NoFo Brew Co. With over 10 signature cocktails to choose from, NoFo Brew Co has something for everyone. A few of their most popular signature cocktails include the Lone Wolf made with their vodka, jalapeno, peach, pineapple and lime, Bear Candy made with their award winning agave blanco, grapefruit juice, lime and grapefruit soda, and Bogey Nights, crafted with their bourbon, blood orange, rosemary, agave nectar, bitters and lemon.
Team member since day one and Assistant Distiller, Justin Kendrick says, “Oh My ‘Gave look at those medals! We poured our heart and soul into making these spirits and the proof of that labor is in the bottles. I am super proud to be working here and creating top shelf spirits.”
NoFo Brew Co is slated to open their second and third location in Cleveland and Gainesville, Georgia, respectively this summer. With as little turnaround as possible, we can expect to see NoFo Cleveland open and operating by June 2nd and NoFo Gainesville in early July.
